"Inkō" Pressed Incense Making Experience
Experience the charm of traditional Japanese incense by making your own 'Inkō'—delightful pressed incense pieces shaped like cookies.

Details of the experience

In the world of Kōdō, the traditional Japanese art of incense appreciation, it is said that “where there is a pleasant fragrance, evil cannot dwell.” Similarly, in feng shui, it is believed that good fortune gathers in places filled with beautiful scents. The gentle aroma of incense purifies both the space and the spirit—inviting peace, harmony, and meaningful connections into your life.
Unlike incense used in Buddhist rituals, Inkō is a form of "hobby incense" enjoyed for its beauty and fragrance. As its name suggests, it is made by pressing incense dough into molds—just like making cookies. With a variety of charming shapes to choose from, you can create your own adorable incense pieces.
