Incense Stick-Making Experience
You can choose a fragrance based on Jinkō (the “king of fragrant woods”), which is highly regarded by the Japanese, and blend it to create your own personalized incense sticks.

Details of the experience

Incense sticks are, without a doubt, one of the most well-known forms of traditional Japanese incense.
Since ancient times, they have been referred to as “messengers of devotion.” It is believed that the fragrance of incense purifies both body and mind, awakening the Buddha-nature within each of us.
Incense sticks are also said to be “messengers of the Buddha,” carrying our prayers to the divine on the rising smoke.
In this experience, you will create your own incense sticks using the rich, calming scent of Jinkō (aloeswood), known as the “king of fragrant woods.”

~Incense Stick-Making~
You will blend your own fragrance.
★ Choose your favourite scents from 14 to 16 different incense ingredients and blend them to create your personalised fragrance.
★ Even if you select the same ingredients, slight differences in the proportions can change the fragrance, allowing you to create your very own "original scent."
Note:
Jinkō (Aloeswood) – One of the most renowned fragrant woods. It is made from resin that solidifies within the leaves of an evergreen tree from the Euphorbiaceae family, and is a highly rare and valuable fragrance material, with only a few trees yielding the resin in a large forest.
All ingredients are 100% natural.
